Has anyone tried Kate Spade shoes and what are your thoughts on them? Currently tempted by the Gia heels, but ££££. Are they comfy / wearable / good quality? They look high, but hoping that the platform makes them feel OK.

Not shoes but these

Whilst I still love the look of them the quality is awful and the straps came away from the sole twice in the first couple of months of owning them and with little wear. The cobbler can’t fix them this time, so they’ve been very expensive per wear.

wear these sandals on all of your summer adventures. the airy EVA midsole keeps your feet comfy while the hookandloop closure straps keep them in place. so there's no need to carry your shoes when you're exploring!

I have the NY taxi flats and they are very good quality, 6 years now and still looking new-ish. Made in Brazil. I prefer shoes made in Italy, Spain or Portugal but these KS flats are good.

They look really heavy, OP, and that toe box looks really flat and squashed like it would press your toes. Plus the skinny ankle strap with the heavy shoe suggests that isn’t giving any support and would likely cut in and probably snap fairly early into the life of the shoe. They don’t look comfortable from the photo alone.

They are nice but I think you’d be able to find something similar at a more comfortable price point.

The quality of Kate Spade used to be excellent (and the prices were high to match). Now they are much cheaper and much more poorly made. I can well imagine that the shoes @LaBrujaPiruja bought six years ago still look really good. I bought dresses and bags then that were made of beautiful fabrics (silk, not polyester) and really well designed. Now they've gone cheap and the quality has really declined. I would pass, as I think you could get similar for cheaper at the same quality.
