Soeur handbag, anyone got it?!

Some sort of obsession has begun ... but I can't locate one in any shops near me... plus the colours are bamboozling me because I like several ...

If you have one, can I see it please!

I don't have one but I've seen it in the shops a few times. It's nice, the navy and burgundy (I think they call it plum) are the nicest classic colours, navy is a little deeper than it appears on my screen. The black is a bit flat and uninteresting in RL. The greens are lovely too but you need to like green and it kind of needs to go with your wardrobe.

You could also look at Ateliers Auguste for a similar look and if you're looking for a tan colour as it's a much nicer tan colour than the Soeur version. It's also a higher quality leather and made in Italy as opposed to Morocco for the Souer one.

@botemp aw feck it now, they are gorgeous too. It's something about that rigid leather that reminds me of old camera cases in an Out of Africa kind of way!

I love the petrol blue Soeur bag but I'd love to see it in RL before buying... and the hazelnut/tan one ...

Anyway you've thrown a spanner in the works now, they are very similar types.

I'm back in Ireland now, if I was still in the U.K. I'd go to JL for a look!

If you're near Dublin you could pop in at Brown Thomas and look at the Celine classic box bag, as that's the original design these type of bags are heavily inspired by. It's frighteningly expensive but it could give you somewhat of an idea, try it on for size as the boxy-ness does make them a bit wieldy. The leather on the Ateliers August one is of the same type as on the Celine one.
