Recommend me a water flosser please

Been looking at the water floss devices but would like recommendations . Pretty mixed reviews on most of them online

I DEF wouldn't recommend a Waterpik...I bought 2 and the battery failed both times dead on 12 months

I bought a one from Amazon- sorry can't link as not on there anymore- and it is going strong 3 years on. It's the one with a water tank like this

The best way to floss your teeth is to use interdental brushes. But if you can't use them, the cheapest way to water floss your teeth is to use a syringe for dental flossing with warm salty water.

The Waterpik is rubbish and a total waste of money. I had better results with denta sticks.

I have this cordless one because a corded one one wouldn't work in my bathroom, and I love it. I use it in addition to string floss and Tepe brushes though, not instead of.

I've been using water flossers for years, I have had three (they lasted 3-4years) costing around £25 each from Amazon. I find them really good and convenient.

I recently had a hygienist clean after 13 years without, and she commented on how good my teeth and gums were. I told her I use a water flosser and she didn't tell me to use floss or interdental brushes, same goes for my dentist.

OP just choose any of the ones on Amazon under £30 and you won't go far wrong. Make sure you use warm water if your teeth are at all sensitive and don't turn the flosser on until it's in your mouth or you'll get water everywhere. And don't try to look in the mirror while you floss, you need to be leaning over the sink.

I agree about the gum thing. I'm nearly 60 and my gums are in fab condition and get 0 every time when my dentist 'scores' my gum health
