Has anyone else tried this?
It’s £££ but I’m getting lots of compliments, my skin improved too. There’s quite a hack to it- wondered if anyone else is using it and wants to share tips?

I had the foundation but it had flakes in it, like dried up foundation do I got a refund. Shame as it feels and smells lovely!

I love the miracle balm. I pat it on top of foundation and bronzing powder on top of that to take a bit of shine off. My skin glows and have had so many compliments. It's great for dry skin aswell

I’m resisting the urge to then add powder- it really does give a glow!

What do you mean there's a hack to it? Do you mean it smells?

I also got the foundation and it had lots of dried up plasticky flakes in it! Chucked it away total waste of money, very disappointed.

Tried the face pencils too, definitely need to warm them up between fingers before applying otherwise they are a bit chalky and drag the skin, I tend to roll in my fingers and pat on. Feel they’re on the oily side once on and do crease. Overall I had high expectations for them and the foundation but was hugely disappointed.

I thought it was underwhelming and very overpriced. It's had mostly bad reviews on previous posts.

WitchyFingers · 26/09/2023 12:32

Isn't the miracle balm just overpriced tinted vaseline? It doesn't have great reviews.

Middleagedmeangirls · 26/09/2023 13:49

it took me a while to get the hang of Miracle Balm and now I love it. I'm quite fair with a lot of redness and I use Flushed as a blusher, Bronzed for nose, chin and under my cheek bones to give some depth and then Golden Hour as a highlighter for all over glow. It's all I've worn during the day (apart from sunblock) for the last couple of months. It looks very fresh and natural.

I also have the au Natural but haven't found d that as useful.

It smells nice! No I mean the hack to getting it on your skin. It's unlike cream and needs warming and dabbing on.

Vaseline is literally just petroleum jelly. This has caster oil, beeswax and seed oils.

The ingredients of Vaseline is very different to Jones Road which has lovely moisturising oils.
I hate petro chemicals and they make a seal on the skin rather than nice natural oils that genuinely moisturise.

I haven't liked anything I've tried - and did want to like it.

The miracle balm is potentially the most disappointed I've ever been with a cosmetic product of that price point, so I'm glad I tried a friends (who also though the same) and didn't buy my own. I couldn't wait to get it off my face.

I have bought the powder bronzing compact though. I'm very fair and had seen the Dusty Rose shade hyped several times as a perfect option for fair skin but it really does nothing for me at all shade wise and the formula was also disappointing, I found it didn't blend easily and I get a lot of fallout when I put a brush to it. I passed it on.

I'd like to try the lip tint, the shade range is right up my street but at £26 I think it's a bit steep, it doesn't look like anything groundbreaking.
