Statement suit

I’m really hoping someone can help and appreciate any advice/guidance people can offer.

Despite owning multiple blazers I have never bought a suit and don’t really know where to look. To complicate things I would really love it be a statement print or pattern and even better if in natural fibres.

I am 5’ 8” and slim on top 8-10 but bigger on the bottom more 12-14.

The only thing I’ve found so far that I liked isn’t in stock any more (hopefully I’ve attached a picture) and it’s also quite summery for heading into Autumn/Winter. Perhaps Tartan? Wise mumsnetters - what should I be searching for and where?

What is the ‘statement’ you’re wanting to make, @AltCarbon? Where would you be planning to wear your tartan suit?

And what sort of budget do you have in mind? New or pre-owned?

There’s a Hugo Boss on the JL website, reduced. Blue with v fine pattern. Search for it separately blaster and trousers, rather than a suit.

Oh my - what an absolutely stupendous site, @Gah81! That’s definitely my discovery of the week, if not month.

(And just when I’d decided to concentrate on adding some ‘basics’ to my chaotic wardrobe … Hmm)

This one, if the pattern is not too dainty. It’s called Tasewa.

Thanks for the ideas so far. The Lisou ones are fab and I would wear something like that for somewhere special (so thank you as I’d never heard of it) but are probably too much of a statement and investment for work.

For budget I don’t mind if it’s new or pre-loved but do want value for money so not spending £100s on cheap materials just because it’s a brand.

Not sure how to tag but thanks as well for the link to the Hugo Boss, it’s a bit too subtle but a good tip on searching separates.

You’re welcome. To tag you just do the @ sign and the poster’s name from the drop down list, if they’ve been on the thread, or their name if you know it and want to call them over @AltCarbon
