Beautiful boots - calf leather

I have seen a few pairs of boots that I love and they are all calf leather. I made the mistake of looking into this (and how they get it so.....supple ) and feel uncomfortable, to put it lightly.
Are there any decent brown brogue boots (lace ups) in the UK that are made of cow leather?
I am not vegan and am happy to wear leather but something about this feels off, and that's fair enough, it's a personal choice.

I am talking about boots like these from Grenson and Lanx, both calf leather as far as I know, and sadly i cant locate any similar boots at good quality that are not calf.

I have these in brown and black. Gorgeous soft leather and super comfortable. It's my go to brand. I also have some leather plimsolls and shorter ankle boots.
