Hi all please could I get some recommendations for dry shampoo? I used to use batiste but it seems rubbish now. Currently using bed head but that seems rubbish as well unless it's my shampoo that I'm using in between. Would appreciate recommendations for decent shampoo and conditioner as well please. I've been using garnier hair food. Got dyed red fine above shoulder length hair. Thank you

I like the Philip Kingsley one. It gave me good volume.

This one for itchy scalps but they do one called one more das as well

By the way, I am not a Harrods shopper. I got the itchy scalp one from QVC!

Hm lots to try here. Thank you. I've started using OGX shampoo and conditioner and gone back to batiste the original but there's just way to much white stuff. I just brushed my hair after using it this morning and loads came out plus you could see it all day.

For me the best way with dry shampoo is to use a minimal amount the day you wash your hair for a bit of pouffe and to stop grease developing.

And then before I go to bed, I spray it more generously along the hairline, partings, roots etc. I don't brush through as it dries the ends of my fine hair if I do that. Somehow sleeping on it makes the powder disappear but I'm left with non greasy hair.

This was recommended to me by a very successful, multi-award winning hairdresser so I have followed it religiously. He also recommended switching your shampoos around so that your hair doesn't get used to the same product and making sure that you use a mild refining shampoo every so often to get rid of built up product.

I have used all sorts of dry shampoos from cheap to very expensive and still prefer the Batiste original - but only used as I have detailed above. If I wait until the day my hair is greasy it is a powdery mess.

I meant to add that after spraying at night I then kind of rub through my scalp.

Living proof of you're feeling flush, but I use Pantene dry shampoo mousse, works amazingly and keeps the volume
