Is it basically a gloss or is it special? Is it £32 special?

I don't know about the lip oil, but I am a recent convert to Dior lipstick at £37 a pop and it's worth every penny. The only lipstick I have found where the colour doesn't come off and it feels like my lips are bare rather than that tacky lipstick feel.

I love the packaging and how expensive it looks, but really it's just a lipgloss. It's not as sticky as a lipgloss but it definitely wears like one and doesn't last a long time. For the money I paid I wouldn't get another one.

Ostryga · 21/09/2023 15:48

It’s nice, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

NYX Fat Oil Lip Drip is just as good and £7!

I received one in a present and put it on every morning. Before wearing it I always had dry cracked lips which nothing I tried got rid of completely. Since wearing it I've not had dry cracked lips at all. If I hadn't been gifted the CD lip oil I would never have bought it but fully intend replacing it when it runs out.

I use Hourglass Lip Oil (in Bare). It costs a small fortune but my lips are in great condition and it looks good (I get lots of compliments). I guess really I use it as lip colour that has moisturising properties.

ThePoshUns · 22/09/2023 10:39

I use Typology lip oil in red. I Sue it every day and love it. Feels so nice on, not as thick as lipstick or balm

HollyBollyBooBoo · 22/09/2023 11:58

Love it, haven't found a good enough dupe to replace it.

TheNeverEndingOver · 22/09/2023 14:40

I really like it. It is a lipgloss, but I would buy it again for sure

Ive just tried the NYX lip oil Lovely colour (Supermodel) but feels sticky Dont like the stickiness but otherwise its nice.

A lip oil is more nourishing than a gloss, but the finish is similar. Haven't tried Dior's lip oil, but their lipsticks are gorgeous

NashvilleQueen · 23/09/2024 20:47

The Clarins one is the best IMO

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 24/09/2024 01:03

The new Nivea lip oils are amazing.

JenniferBooth · 26/10/2024 20:49

Has anyone here tried the new No 7 Pro Artist lip oil Seen them in Clear Glaze and Strawberry Glaze.

No but can really recommend the new Nivea lip oils, they're lovely.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 26/10/2024 22:16

Ha ha , didn't realise I'd already said they were good on this thread 🤣

ProvincialLady24 · 26/10/2024 22:24

How much do you think it cost to make? Other brands sell them from £5.

Tinks15 · 26/10/2024 22:33

Second clarins lip oil - I love it.
