Laser hair removal

I have had 6 sessions so far of laser hair removal in my pubic area. I am still pretty hairy. Those of you who have done this, how many sessions were needed to be hair free? Did you ever get to hair free? Do you need too ups? I'm feeling despondent that there is still so much hair after months of treatment.

I had 8 sessions about 15 years ago and am still hair free. It was the proper laser hair removal - not IPL. Has it thinned at all?

I had medical grade laser hair removal over my whole body. It wasn't working and they suggested I get tested for PCOS. I was a young 21 yo and buried my head in the sand. They increased the laser strength and it worked. Eventually due to the cost I had to stop. I'm now 31yo, did indeed have PCOS (diagnosed at 25). However, the laser treatment has worked on my bikini line (no growth) although I had a 'Hollywood' laser removal, it still grows on my buttocks and pubic area. My abdomen and backs of my legs are much softer and slower growing hairs. My face however, due to the hormones is still quite stubbly.

If you're using a professional, medical grade laser, they are increasing the laser strength if not getting a result, and you know in your heart of hearts you're a 'good' candidate for laser hair removal eg. fairish skin with dark hair, then I would maybe get some bloods done before paying for anymore. I wish I did!

I knew it was working though because at some points you would see the hair follicles pop out of my skin with the laser 😂

I'm having Motis AY laser. It's proper laser not IPL. I feel like I have about 50% of the hair still there. I might be underestimating how much hair there was so maybe I still have 40 % of the hair still there. I have 3 more sessions booked so 9 in total. I'm just hoping that will be enough. I really had hoped to have no hair at all left although I was told at the start that some people end up with none but some end up with lightweight fine hairs. The hairs I still have are like the original pubic hairs

Soprano ice laser removed all my leg hair in 5 seasons. Haven’t had a top up in over 7 years and have no regrowth.
After the first session it was almost 5 weeks before I needed to shave so the results were almost instant.

Im not fair skinned/dark haired either so not an ideal candidate. I’ve recommended this laser to several friends who’ve all had good results.

You definitely should have lost more than 50% by now.
