Pregnancy acne - help

I’m 9 or 10 weeks pregnant, I’ve struggled with my skin since coming off the pill and starting ttc last year. I had just about got it under control with a dermatica prescription and what I think was just hormones settling. Now I’m into my first trimester and I’ve just exploded in spots!

There are more whiteheads than the large cystic spots I was getting previously, which were mainly on my jaw - now I’m getting spots all over my face and my skin is so oily, by lunchtime I feel I need to wash it again.

Im using a gentle avene cleanser alternated with a salicylic acid one, then have just been using a moisturiser over that as I found too many products upset my skin before.

I know I’m more limited in what I can use whilst pregnant. Does anyone have recommendations on how I can get things under control? Skincare or makeup that might help!

Sympathies. Mine was shocking till about 16 weeks.

You can use benzoyl peroxide in pregnancy I’m pretty sure (check with pharmacist) so you could try Acnecide cream. But be careful as pg skin can be more sensitive.
