'Soft feeling' Mascara? ...

Can any of you lovely people please recommend a mascara that will look good, not give me panda eyes after a few hours but, that also leaves lashes feeling soft and flexible instead of clumpy & crunchy?

During lockdown, I stopped wearing make up completely (and my skin thanked me) but now I want to occasionally wear make-up, all my usual mascaras feel like I've glued an actual spooly to each eyelid, clumpy, crunchy and they seem to work like velcro for any stray hair or fibre in the air which results in irritation & watery eyes.

I found a good Reddit thread asking for similar but it was 7 years old so, here I am for the readily available to buy recommendations.

I would try a tubing mascara. Kevin Aucoin does a great one.

Max Factor Masterpiece is lovely I find (gold tube is better than black).
Also, one of the Lancôme ones, but I can't remember which one - and anyway is twice the price of the MF.

Maybelline Sky High fits these criteria!

Too Faced Better Than Sex waterproof.

I like the Clarins one - I have sensitive skin and it works for me

Maybelline full n soft used to be exactly this but they discontinued it. Might be some on eBay? I have maybelline sky high which is a tubing mascara and I love it. Also had good results with L’Oréal lash paradise, makes them fluttery and not crunchy.

Thanks for the recommendations 😊

@Cheesymonster the Full n Soft was the most recommended on the old Reddit Post so I was hopeful but then noticed it was 7 years old and thought that would probably not be available now.

I used to use & love Borjois mascara but sadly, post Brexit, it's harder to get in the UK

I'm off to ebay in search of the Maybeline!
