Recommend an online personal stylist

I’m in a style rut. Most of my clothes are drab and boring. And unflattering. I don’t know how to put an outfit together. Before I waste money buying new stuff that also doesn’t suit me I thought it’d be worthwhile getting some proper advice via a session with an online personal stylist. Can anyone recommend one?

I’m late forties, size 14/16, big boobs. I want work (semi-smart) and casual clothes.

Thanks.

Could you get a friend to help? I'm sure someone would love to help you out. You could buy them lunch to say thank you and have a fun day out. If not, John Lewis offer a service.

I used John Lewis once before years ago and everything she picked for me was black polyester and too big. It really put me off!

I used Styled by Sian, she's on Instagram and has a blog/email. Not cheap but great

Thanks byronic I’ll check her out

I used Styled by Susie a few years ago and it changed my life! (Honestly.)

When I searched for threads on it here there was a lot of criticism. But I just went for it and it was so helpful. I love all the clothes that I wear now. I no longer necessarily follow all of the rules but I just feel much more confident.

This woman has a really good youtube channel, and I believe you can book online sessions with her (pricey though). But you may find some good tips from just watching some of her videos.

I like watching Melissa Muriel on insta and YouTube, she has given me some ideas and I do look better for it!

I like MM Personal Styling on youtube but i don’t think i can afford her prices sadly!

Just Google personal stylist plus your local city. I’m a personal stylist and it is so much nicer to do it face to face. Things like colour analysis and shape are much easier to do in person.

I recently used Styled by Hellana who was brilliant. She came to my home to do a wardrobe edit and got rid of all the items that just dont work for me, and then we did a Personal shopping session where she had chosen outfits based on my figure and what would work for my day to day life. It's a luxury service, but it's so worth It and when you have clothes that make you feel good about yourself. Total game changer and completely worth it. My only regret is not doing it sooner. She's on instagram and google
