Constantly Want New Clothes

Does anyone else feel like this, pouring for hours over pages online?
May be it’s a way to unwind, bit of a mental reinvention. I don’t buy too much, my wardrobe is very sparse as I do like quality over quantity but still, I am never satisfied and want more, more, more!

My other half just rolls his eyes and says “just buy it”, but I think anticipation and the process is more fun than actually buying (and cheaper). Please tell me you do this as well, spend thousands in your head but not really buying anything?

If it’s just sticking stuff in your basket that you have no intention of buying I can’t see the harm! Like

You could be me, @RagingPMS!

Forty years spent haunting clothes shops, trying on things I rarely had any intention of buying. Now my browsing is all online - and in some ways all the better for it.

I definitely see it as a thirst for novelty and knowledge rather than a drive for acquisition. Occasionally my focus switches - to my legitimate occupation, maybe, or fiction, or gardening or researching something for someone else; clothing is just the default setting.

But we’re all weird in one way or another!

I've been through a bit of a phase like this recently. I think it's trying to fill a hole. For me it's a replacement for my usual self meditation of chocolate and other empty carbs!
Have been a bit stressed recently so scrolling through vinted etc has been a distraction - I can't quite motivate myself to do anything more active rn

I think for me it's because I have a weak sense of personal style and not great self esteem. I've never really mastered my best look and I'm constantly searching for the perfect outfits.
