Possible botox mix up! Help

So...I went to my regular salon for botox yesterday, something I've done about 5 or 6 times before over the last few years with no issues at all.
I got three areas - forehead, crows feet and above my nose. This morning I've woken up in so, so much pain! My cheeks are extremely swollen at the top and I have massive lumps at all the syringe points on my forehead and nose. I swear that my cheeks feel exactly like they do when I've had filler in them and the lumps are huge. Which leads me to my question...do you think she's mixed up filler and botox? Is that something that could be possible? I never usually get any swelling and certainly no pain like this. My Cheeks are massive and tbh I feel really self conscious about going to work.
I've messaged her and told her I'm really swollen and sore but didn't want to accuse her of mixing them up if that's something that's impossible to do.
She's a registered nurse and has been doing aesthetics for quite a few years.
Any advise would be appreciated as I'm really worried.

Could you take a few photos to send to her and ask if she thinks they look ok?

Starlightdarkness · 17/09/2023 21:28

No, that's not possible. Without assessing you myself my first thought is a reaction to the product used to clean your skin. I'd ask if it was a different prep product to normal.

@Starlightdarkness It was the same wipes as she's always used. Im really, really hoping it's just a reaction to the botox but the fact I've never had any reaction before and how the swelling hasn't even slightly gone down is what's concerning me. I will add that she also had filler out as we were discussing getting filler at a later date, that's what made me think she just wasn't paying attention and confused them.

@Somertime she's saying it couod take a week to go down...but it just doesn't feel right. Its been a few days now and the bumps have not reduced in size at all.
