Toiletries Amnesty

Just read an interesting article about recycling opened and used cosmetics and shampoo etc - there is a website www.toiletriesamnesty.org which shows you places close to you that will accept them and pass on to people in need - they give homeless shelters and refugees in need as examples.

I, for one, certainly have a stash to donate!! The nearest one to me isn't that close tbh, but it is somewhere I drive past occasionally so I'll put a bag in the car for next time.

it might be nice/kind in principle but there is a reason why so many products have seals on them.

Thanks @DollyDaisyDo this is really helpful. I've been looking for somewhere I can donate to that doesn't involve posting and the website shows a place within walking distance so that's great news, thanks.

I think its unhygienic to give open products to anyone yes I know it's just "shower gel" but i wouldn't use a random left overs so I wouldn't donate mine.
