Collagen recommendations

Wasn't sure whether to put this in health or beauty! Looking to start taking collagen (35 but have heard the earlier the better) have looked at boots and H&B but the dosage seems low from what I've read online is recommended (for the price especially), I've read you need about 2000mg a day. Do you have any cost effective recommendations?

I looked at this and I am currently taking the Holland and Barrett tablets. 3 a day which is 3000mg. Bought when it was on bogof so I’ve not spent much money. Some of the celeb liquid ones are £50/60 a month and I can’t justify that, nor do I want to sign up to anything.

I’ve read lots. Some say it’s great, others say it does nothing. On here, most posts say it does nothing. I’m willing to give it a try. Been taking it 3 weeks or so. I have a 4 month supply so time will tell.

I’ve been taking this one for about four months now. I THINK my skin is slightly less wrinkly but there is certainly no huge difference and not a single person has said my skin or hair look better. I forgot to pack it when I went away for two weeks so I did have a break from it in August. I’m carrying on for now waiting for the miracle breakthrough to happen.

Thank you, I'm mostly intrigued as my mum and friend have started and their nails have gotten so long and strong so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try.

I take Ancient and Brave true collagen, I don’t think it’s made much of any difference to skin hair or nails but my knees and hips feel a lot better and I no longer wake up in pain

I've been taking the wellguard pure collagen powder for about a week now. I'm mainly taking it to help with joint pain and it already seems to be helping. I definitely haven't needed to take as many Painkillers this week. If it also helps with my hair and wrinkles then that an added bonus!
