Autumn cord? Where are the good bits?

I fancy some soft, rich-coloured cord for autumn - where would be good to look?
I love this which someone posted on another dress but the shape would.be awful on me.
And I tried on a navy dress in fatface which was also perfect colour but had ruffles round the neck 🤨

There are just too many beautiful things this autumn. I have to hide S&B or I will have not a penny left to my name (on the plus side I would look fabulous).

@Almahart I'm a size 16 and get the XL which fits me well. I'd maybe size up if you are between sizes

I agree there are just too many gorgeous clothes in autumn. I hated all the baggy floral dresses in summer, so didn't spend much. Those Uniqlo trousers are nice too, but I need to try them on in store.

Nobody’s Child have a lovely dark green mini pinny and New Look have a very similar (but a lot cheaper) one in burgundy

I think I just bought those M&&S trousers. They are really nice but now I need a super soft lightweight jumper to go with them 😅
Last year, Hush had the perfect petrol colour dress and I decided it was overpriced. Really regret that now.

Has anyone got the m&s cord leggings? They look just like ones my kid wears and I'd love a pair too... but do they not leave much to the imagination at the top?

@Carpediem15 - I don’t have them anymore so hopefully someone can measure for you, but I found those M&S cords quite wide ( and wide all the way down) and as a result they didn’t suit me. I’m short though!

I just realised I have some M and S vouchers that have to be used up. So I think I will go M and S wide leg. I am tallish; maybe they will be ok.

I’ve bought this from New Look as I think it’ll look good layered over tights / leggings and lots of different tops. It comes in black and khaki as well, but I’m liking the burgundy for autumn (I found size wise it came up a little on the big side).

I went to do my shopping this morning and they were putting out lots of new stuff and there they were - https://www.marksandspencer.com/cotton-rich-cord-wide-leg-trousers/p/clp60607901 - I tried them on and I am a size 12 and just 5.3" and they fitted perfectly and to my surprise I liked them. I also bought a pair of the cord leggings £19.95. If I can use my 15% off again I will buy the black ones.
By the way they are 11 inches wide - 28 cm.

Left it too late to edit - I bought the M and S Sienna cords yesterday - £25 - bought the 12 which is my usual size and they were too tight on the top of the legs and too long so took them back and tried on 14. They were not a good fit at all, legs were okish but the waist band was gaping at the back. I don't mind turning them up but not going to alter the waistband. Anyway the wide leg ones are a brilliant fit.

I’ve just bought these - they’re actually more bootcut than flare, I think, but seem to work well.
