Please help me find an incredibly EXTRA dress

Please help me find a dress (or jumpsuit?) for an awards event… I want something ridiculously extra and everything I see online just looks meh. Happy to rent or buy… preferably below £150.

I’m 5ft 9, size 8. Want something that screams ‘here I am!’ Short is fine (preferable) but prefer not to have boobs out. Feathers, sequins, giant shoulder pads, whatever- just something WOW!

I know out of budget but imakestagram on insta has some of the most look at me, stand out dresses I’ve ever seen! Mega huge, colourful and tinsel!!! Could you find something cheaper, similar UK based? Bottle blond studio in London done tinsel jackets a while ago so I’m sure there are alternatives out there.

I know you have a budget but as opposed to buying low quality, horrifically made fast fashion (please, please avoid places like Shein, boohoo, misguided etc!) Could this be more of an incredible, special investment garment you wear again for future parties or even festivals where your purchase is supporting an independent brand/artist/designer and the clothes have been made with care, ethically and positively?

If that is too expensive then ebay/Vinted 2nd hand is an option searching for designers you lust after. Or there are some amazing, maximalist party clothes for short term loan on rental platforms like Hurr, Byrotation.

Ah @Oioicaptain that is gorgeous, and a bargain! I don't know why I'm so invested in this thread, it's so far outside my own personal style, I'd just love to have the confidence (and the legs) to wear some of these (but maybe not the blue one in one of my previous posts) 😀

This dress is EXTRA! I actually bought and sent it back because I couldnt quite find a time to wear it and wardrobe space is a premium at the moment but am tempted to buy it again (and it's now reduced!)
