Good evening šŸ‘‹

I’m looking to you all, in your infinite fasionista wisdom, to give me some style inspo for an upcoming lunch date I have. When I say lunch date, it’s with girlfriends, nothing romantic, but that’s the only thing I can think to call it. And, who knows, with the right outfit I could even possibly end up snaring the man of my dreams. Very unlikely, but, I digress…

So, I’m a mid-thirties single mum who never ever gets out! I’m in such a style rut, mum-wear has definitely overtaken my wardrobe which is fine day to day, but I’d like to look chic / stylish / sexy / cool when I go out.

I’m a size 10/12 depending on the brand. In terms of shape I’m probably straight or an apple; definitely have the c-section tummy pouch so would prefer something that didn’t highlight this. Would love to wear a high heel because this isn’t a feature of my life anymore. Other than that, I’m clueless and very much open to suggestion. Nothing mumsy is my only request! Oh, and nothing eye-wateringly expensive please. I’d not be able to spend more than Ā£100-150 tops on the outfit, and would very much prefer it cheaper than that - so Vinted suggestions are brilliant for me.

Please help!!

Thank you in advance xxxxx

Lunch date at a pub or fancier restaurant?

pub lunch - jean skirt (longer is in), loose sweater, ankle boots, largish sunglasses, cross body bag. Plus the denim skirt is easy to wear in everyday life.

Nicer restaurant - slim trousers (but not skinny), nice top, blazer. Heels and nice necklace or earrings.

It's lunch, so I wouldn't go over the top. Nicer casual.
