Is there a go to, everyone likes it fragrance at all? I need to buy a gift. Recipient loves the brand but I’ve never noticed any particular fragrance in her house. Next time I see her I need to hand over the gift so no chance to check.

what are you going to get her? a candle, the mimosa and cardamon one is lovely

(avoid the pomegranet unless you know for sure she likes patouli - i personally hate it so would hate that as a gift)

I like a lot of their things but dislike others - any idea whether it's the candles and home items she prefers or the bath and body ?

Definitely home fragrance side so candle or a room spray or a diffuser I think or may be a perfume. Not body or bath shower stuff I don’t think. Budget up to £100. Thank you for coming back to me.

I have just remembered that she loved the advent calendar last year and has talked about the perfume that was behind door 1 (from memory) being lovely but I have no idea what that was.

Which Jo Malone there is such a range of scents it is really hard to pick one. I love peony and blush but it is floral as is the poppy and Barley? one which I also like along with a blue bell one. However if your friend doesn't like floral they may not be for her.

I know Jo Malone keep a register of what you purchase, normally by name and address although in my case it is my email. My brother who is utterly clueless in things like this got me my favourite perfume this way.

Woodsage and seasalt candle would be a safe bet

Oh God if someone gave me a gift of Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin or Pomegranate Noir I think I'd probably cry. I
hate those scents and would hate the waste of money.
Scent is so subjective.
I hope you find the one your friend likes. You could always put in a gift receipt so she could swap it.

My former DH bought me yet another Lime, Basil & Mandarin. It seems to be his go to scent. As I already had a backlog I contacted Jo Malone and they were very good in giving me what they called a ‘discreet replacement’ without the invoice or any reference to XDH. I swapped for Peony & Blush Suede.

Peony and blush suede is gorgeous and wintery to me, I like nectarine and honey blossom for a lighter scent.

As PP said, Jo Loves are gorgeous smells , I love the Jo by Jo Loves and Green Orange and Coriander
But they are subjective, I don't like vanilla or sweet or rose scents at all

I love the English Pear and Freesia.
