Hello all! I am on the hunt for a dress for a wedding I'm going to at the end of September - the bride and groom are friends of my (relatively new!) boyfriend, and I've met a few of the guests once or twice but that's all. From what my boyfriend tells me, they are not hugely formal people and it won't be a floor-length ballgown type affair, but obviously I want to look nice. Who knows what the weather will be like at the end of Sept, but hopefully not too extreme in either direction.
I have this vague idea in my head of a dress that is maybe pink and silver?! - though am flexible on that. I'm 5 foot 8.5, size 10, longish dark blonde hair. I don't like shapeless floaty things a la Cos, they do nothing for me - I prefer dresses that are a bit more structured and fitted at the waist. Don't look great in high necks but don't want anything super low either. Would prefer something shortish, above the knee, though super-mini probably isn't the way to go for this occasion (!). I'm trying to save money at the moment so would rather not spend more than £100. Challenge accepted?!
