Long (truly) waterproof coat

Hi

I've finally realised that I've outgrown the waterproof North Face jacket I've had for 15 years and need to get something that fits me better as a very pear shaped person (size 16-20 depending on brand).

I was looking at Didriksons but really any truly waterproof (rather than repellent) recommendations would be fab, and I want it to fully cover my bum.

I walk 40 minutes each morning on the nursery run so need something that can take a soaking. Warmth I can supplement with jumpers underneath. Budget up to £300.

Any recommendations for something that will last and keep me dry?

Another vote for Didriksons. I bought a Leya this year which is almost ankle length on me 5’5”. I love it. It’s cozy and has kept me dry though every named storm.
I have a shorter Parka, also Didriksons, which is even warmer and also waterproof. It’s about 5 years old , and very shaped/ slim fitting. Cannot find the current model equivalent.
New Forest Clothing have some nice looking long coats of different weights.

Protected Species waterproof trench, I've been so impressed with it.
Doesn't crease, waterproof, looks good.
