We have just received a very unexpected full day wedding invitation for the daughter of my husbands business associate.

This will be in a very posh castle setting and have a societal feel about it.

I need plus size wedding recommendations. It's in November. I was thinking Navy???

What sort of length?
what sort of budget?
Dress or dress and jacket?

Budget 200-300 max.
Probably mid calf length I'm an apple shape if that helps.

God designers are so lazy with the plus size market…. It’s all butterfly sleeves. Most of what I’ve found is full length and I don’t know about that for a wedding. I’d feel weird myself but the last wedding I went to was my brothers 18 months ago and I wore a very nice red velvet dress I found in a charity shop but didn’t feel like myself at all.

Ive posted some screenshots… I like the red one myself. I’ve also snuck a forest green one in because searching around one colour can be a bit restrictive.

Actually I really love that forest green from coast and would probably get it taken up a couple of inches if full length was OTT.

I have a couple of Scarlett & Jo dresses and do have one in navy which is very flattering but when I look at the site now it’s slim pickings. It used to have a much broader range of styles… now it’s a lot of the same style in different garish prints.
