Ideas to stop my hat falling off?

I have a hat like the photo ( not identical but to give you an idea !) to wear to a wedding in a few weeks and I need a way to somehow make the Alice band a snugger fit / secure it to stop it slipping off when I move my head.
I have a very small head !
I was thinking I might have to use grips but I have straight fine hair and worry it will be a complete pain.

Any ideas?

You could add a small millinery comb - like these to the underside of the base/headband.

This will then catch your hair when you put the hat on.

I have one of those that's a bit loose. I used clips like these right under the hat bit (so they didn't show). I too have fine straight hair and they worked fine. It was quite a narrow band.

Can't you just use a traditional hat pin or is that too old fashioned now?
