Tiny back size bra

Is anywhere selling 26 band non-wired bras? It’ll probably be a B cup but would prefer to try on if I can as might need a C, depending on cut etc.

What do you measure around your underbust ?

dementedpixie · 10/09/2023 18:13

Nope you're unlikely to find a 26 back bra. You could maybe try a sister size where you go up one size in the back and conversely go down one size in the cup e.g. for 26C you'd go to 28B or 26B you'd go to 28A

I have a 26" back. My 30 back bras ( from m&s and la senza) measure 26" when streched. The plus 4" works fine for me. How big is your back?

Trinity69 · 10/09/2023 18:15

26 bands are incredibly hard to find. Boux Avenue generally come up small so a 28” from there could fit you better than a 28” from elsewhere. Have you measured using boob or bust?

I measured 25” around my ribs for years and the first 30” bras fitted well. Bands have got more generous since then so although I am fatter and now measure 27”, I am still in a 30, or a 28 at times.
My dd measures 24-25 around her ribs , and wears a 28 back but they are often a bit big. Teenage bras are less generous and fit better around the band.
Take a tape measure out with you and measure band so that you know what to try on, you might find teenage bras fit you well in a 28 or a 30, depending on your rib size.

It’s for 12yo DD. She measures 25” underbust. She’s tall and skinny but needs more than just a crop top. I’ve tried the M&S 28s which are their smallest but just can’t get the overall fit right with the cups.

Good tip to take the tape measure with us and measure the actual bra. I might have to make the trip to John Lewis, I seem to remember going there with older DD.

Maybe try a bigger cup size. 28D?

Royce do simple teen bras, they tend to be more old school with their bands as well. If you get really stuck I would buy the best overall fit and get the band taken in.
