Office atire in heat

What do you wear to the office when it's this hot? I work from home exclusively but have to go in Monday for a meeting.

My office is still quite smart, couldn't wear trainers for example. I have some smart tailored trousers but I'm thinking more of the top half?

I'm also 20 weeks pg 😅 but not really showing yet

What about a plain midi dress in navy/black/grey? Then just some flat sandals.

Is the office air conditioned? And how do you get to work?

I used to find it very hard dressing for sweaty Tube commute but then cold air con office, layers were the answer, or dresses (took off tights for commute).

Similar situation. Was hoping to find a formal-ish short sleeve blouse to wear with navy trousers cannot find anything except black, very dark navy or totally see-through! Plus they are all v basic looking. Have you found anything jellytots18?

I've lived in M&S linen shirts this summer, usually paired with a midi skirt. Looks smart and feels much cooler than a more tight fitting top or dress.

Currently favoured option is smart linen trousers (wide leg), sleeveless smart top, plus light cardigan for the aircon. Smart black trainers or sandals depending on heat levels.

@Wednesdaysotherchild what trainers do you wear for the office? As I wfh and only go in occasionally my work wear fills me with dread - trainers would help!
