Anyone used/using BP? I see they have a free trial so thought I'd try and buy a few bits....keen to get the cica face cream but don;t want to pay £70! Any recommendations of what is good and what isn't?

Hiya! I've tried a lot of their stuff (member for a while) and these are the products I keep repurchasing or really rate:

Repurchase:

  • Japanfusion Cleansing Balm/Gel (so simple, not too heavy, refreshing)
  • Japanfusion Face Mist
  • Super Healthy Skin SPF50
  • Brow Pencil in Blonde Girl
  • Make up setting spray
  • Super healthy skin gel wash (massive bottle, lasts AGES)
  • their new acid enzyme face wash (great for a refresh/smoothing)

Really rate:

  • the cream blushers! They are SO nice
  • the Birthday scented candle. It smells incredible!
  • the make up brushes
  • the fruitenzyme face mask
  • Happy Face face cream

Don't bother:
Not a huge fan of their hair care products, mascara, foundation or eyeshadow.

Also, I used their posh serum - the £44 one and I'm not sure it's worth the £££. Just my opinion tho!

But skincare and scents are fab!

ThomasHardyPerennial · 08/09/2023 09:34

I really like the Superluminous under eye concealer thing.

ilovebrie8 · 08/09/2023 09:40

Thanks.. really useful to know.

Totally agree with @MissKittyFantastico84 I’d only add that their tinted moisturiser is fab - total dupe for the Liz E one, but foundation, mascara, hair care and serums are shit.

RingofBrodgar · 09/09/2023 08:23

I would disagree on the serums. They seem to work for me, and my skin is the best it's been for ages. I use various 'Youthbomb' products and think they are great for the money.
I am generally not that keen on the makeup.

Florenceatemycake · 09/09/2023 08:26

LOVE BEAUTY PIE.

I love their hyaluronic triple serum and their plant night oil. Genuinely think the skincare is brilliant. Also like the super luminous under eye.

Alwaysoneoddsock · 09/09/2023 08:29

I love the serums. They’ve made a huge difference to my skin I’m late forties - so maybe they don’t work if you’re younger (as you don’t need them). Love super healthy skin and super luminous under eye concealer and use the tubing mascara they’ve just brought out. It’s as good as the Clinique one used to be before the formula changed.

SiobahnRoy · 09/09/2023 08:30

Agree with others, the hyaluronic serum is ace, likewise under eye brightener and japanfusion range. Their retinol is usually good as is the super healthy skin range. I also really rate the neck serum.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 09/09/2023 08:36

I love the serum in the black bottle and the moisturiser in the black jar.

Also their new Uberyouth serum and their retinols.

hate the pink line, very fragranced.

their eye pencils are good, and I still have and use an eyeshadow palette they did some time ago, great colours, some fall down, but not too much.

I think you can join free for a month, as a taster.

dizzyupthegirl86 · 09/09/2023 11:02

I like the oxygenating moisturiser. It works brilliantly on my skin, which tends to get shiny really easily ( and I prefer a lighter moisturiser) but can’t get enough moisture! It’s a light gel so great for this weather as it doesn’t feel sticky.

Pixilicious1 · 09/09/2023 11:08

Ooh which one is the tubing one as I haven’t had much success with their mascaras. Love lots if other stuff though, particularly the Youthbomb range (early 50s) definitely making a difference to the texture of my skin, especially on my neck and chest

It’s wrap star - it stops the under eye smudge I seem to get with other mascaras.

£44 for a serum? I thought beauty pie was a bargain webpage? Might aswell buy from the highstreer

LogonMounstuart · 10/09/2023 07:00

I have been a BP member since almost the beginning. Rate Japanfusion cleanser, brow gel, super luminous under eye concealer, awesome bronze drops, every day great skin concealer, cream blusher, make up brushes.

Avoid- hair care- rubbish, lipsticks- they just break- cheap and nasty, tubing mascara- still smudges not a patch on Clinique or Hourglass ones.

They have expanded a lot at the expense of quality and customer service in the last year or two and all the supplements are not my bag- and they have discontinued some great products in favour of this quackery. Probably won't renew- but am a bit reliant on the few great things they still do do.

fairyfluf · 10/09/2023 07:59

Japan fusion cleanser
Make up brushes
I gave up when they changed their membership model to an annual price

ilovebrie8 · 10/09/2023 18:23

I ordered the japan fusion face mist and the cica face cream....eagerly waiting their arrival 😏

Used to love Beauty Pie, but my favourite items have become so much more expensive, some have tripled in price! Their prices are equivalent now to a number of other brands and to be honest I no longer think it's worth it especially with the membership fee.

Having said that, things I really rate and still join up for to repurchase during a free trial are:

-plantastic cleansing balm
-cream blushes
-superluminous under eye genius
-collagen lip oils

I also love their make up brushes.

I've found alternatives for some things since leaving. Their SPF is also good but Beauty of Joseon is better IMO. Love the Jeju mist but Byoma is better and cheaper.

ilovebrie8 · 13/09/2023 09:30

Got my first order v happy! Any other top buys, I’m in the free trial so going to splurge while I can…

Bump! any fragrance recommendations?

OP posts:
DanceMumTaxi · 21/09/2023 21:53

My 4 most favourite products that I buy again and again are:

  • flash facelift serum
  • plantastic over night face oil (green one)
  • one powder wonder
  • under eye corrector
ilovebrie8 · 22/09/2023 11:54

iIve been trying to get the under eye corrector and it is sold out!
