Need help with finding new foundation please

Liz Earle seem to have stopped selling their foundation which I loved and have used for years. Can anyone suggest a good substitute please? Needs to be cruelty-free (definitely!), ideally the same price as Liz Earle or a bit lower (ie not more than c£20-£25 per tube), and last from morning till evening without coating my wash hand basin and face-clothes etc with hard-to-remove stains and oil! (I still use Liz Earle Hot Cloth cleanser and want to stay with that.) I've tried Green People (nice to use but unfortunately didn't last all day) and various Boots No 7 foundations (which all seemed a bit gunky). Thanks in advance!

How light or heavy coverage would you like?

Light enough to look "natural" but heavy enough to deal with my advancing years! I generally only wear foundation plus some concealer under eyes (when I have time to apply it!) and blusher.

I liked the Liz Earle foundation as it hid my imperfections (well, most of them) without being heavy.

I just purchased the Max Factor powder foundation and I really love it. It's really easy to apply and you can apply more to build up coverage if needed. It's the first foundation that I've bought that covers my imperfections and isn't obvious that I'm wearing foundation.

I should state that I've tried all the high end foundations over the years too!

Thanks, but I don't think Max Factor is cruelty-free unfortunately. The search continues!
