How regularly to do beauty items?

To keep looking presentable / polished even if you don't have time for make up etc?

Things like eyebrows, hair cut / colouring, skin exfoliating and moisturising, pedicures, manicures? Plus things I may not have thought of?

I'm fed up of looking slightly scruffy and tired. Haven't been well admittedly and that's had a knock on effect on my skin and hair but I'm pretty sure a self care routine would help. I only use a face wipe or micellar water and I'm sure that's part of why my skin is bad, I've got combination skin which pushes to oily when it's bad plus oily hair too.

Possibly even ideas such as clothing and accessories as I'm sure these things make a difference? How do you keep looking smart?

Thanks in advance

Start with a decent but gentle face wash

Nail a groomed hairdo.

A sleek pony, a shiny straight Bob, healthy groomed hair screams polish. It doesn't have to be expensive just simple, clean and shiny.

In face everything healthy, glossy naturally glowing.

buffed filed nails
Neat eyebrows
Clean flossed teeth
Healthy plump skin/lips - exfoliated, moisturised, minimal make up

In winter, good coats and jackets will instantly lift any old leggings and t shirt.

Should have said I have naturally wavy / curly hair so my hair never stays sleek. I try and trim regularly to keep it from split ends but the frizz is something else when it's especially humid or damp in the air

My nails are always done, I wear clean clothes that are lint rolled and steamed so they're not looking too scruffy, I always wear earrings / watch and that makes me feel put together.

For my hair (mega frizzy) the dreamcoat from colour wow has been a game changer, it's genuinely changed my hair. I used to have a full on frizz halo by lunch but not any more - that made me feel polished as I always looked flustered when frizzy!

I think clean looking skin looks polished, I'm not talking about spot / wrinkle free, but just that clean glow from being washed / moisturised definitely helps to look smart.

Also my eyebrows are done and last ages so that helps too I think, even without makeup it makes a huge difference.
