Nude romper suit

I expect this has been covered before many times but I just simply cannot get the nude romper suit thing (type attached). I just saw this sort of thing coming out of a very hum drum Morrisons yesterday morning. Everything and I mean everything was outlined in it, front parts and back. I expect I'm too old to understand the attraction but they are so so so unflattering. Maybe that's the point??

It's like they've come out in their thermals.

Those and the short ones with thin straps that look like a wrestlers unitard - what is the appeal?!

Ha Ha - I saw several very attractive young women wearing a tight shorts and crop top version of this on a plane recently. Beautiful young things, but fuck me, the outfit did none of them any favours!

Likewise, every beautiful young thing was wearing them at the airport. Short, shorts like a second skin and a crop bra. All colours, all looking like they were painted on or they were out in their knickers. Fair play they all had the figures for them, but what pressure for girls who haven’t. I was driving through ‘naice’ parts of London the other day, and it looked like there had been an explosion in running/ exercising. Now I am wondering if it was just girls in knickers out and about.

Yes the nude/beige/camel colour is also utterly bizarre...camel (coloured) toe at the front and looking naked from the back with beige nylon rammed up the ass. The one I saw in Morrisons was also with two elderly people I assume are her parents!!! WHAT ON EARTH ???!!!!

I saw a girl in Peckham Primark the other day that at first glance I thought was naked. The suit was her exact skin tone.

We saw some on the plane home from holiday, 1 girl had an amazing figure and it sort of worked - not 100% convinced on the style but it didn't look horrendous and ok with a tan. Her companion of a similar age, did not have the same figure and it was really not flattering at all.

I can understand maybe a dark catsuit if you can pull off (I've seen one or two girls looking elegant in those lately, hadn't clocked it as a fashion yet), but yes, light colours will be unforgiving

They are horrendous in any colour. You can just see everything and they don't usually wear a bra which makes it worse. Tik tok trend.

Venus Williams was wearing a blancmange pink version of this playing at the US Open Tennis. But it had a sort of same colour ballet lesson skirt attachment. I think Serena wore similar (in white?) but sans the skirt bit.

I messaged my friend yesterday to ask if she’d noticed the baby gro trend as I saw a girl wearing the hotpants length one in London - every single outline was on display - don’t know if this is worse or the scrunch-bum leggings (or maybe this is integrated into the baby gro). It’s hideous. Oh well, winter is on its way…

My 15 yo dd has the hot pants black version of the above. She is very sporty and looks lovely in it.
