Work to Corpotate Work Event

Hi, just looking for ideas on something I can thrown on over a standard work black dress that will lift an outfit with minimal efforts for an after work event? Like a tailored velvet jacket or some sort of statement blazer etc.

Late 30s, short, size 10 but large chests if that helps.

This is exactly the type of thing I'm looking for but the pockets on the breast area just don't work with my shape unfortunately.

What about a light leather jacket? Ive thrown one on before for networking events to fancy up an outfit to make it look less corporate but matched with the smart outfit it can look good too.
