Pre teen acne

Hi. My 9 year old has started to get small blocked pores on her nose. I had horrible acne as a teenager and bad skin all my adult life. I'm very sensitive about my skin. I'm really worried that my daughter will have the same problems.
I've not said anything to her, and don't want to make her self conscious. Do you think I should encourage her to start using a mild face wash? Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't want to make it worse. I also don't want her to pick up on my insecurities about my skin.

You could get her a face wash and tell her regular soap is too harsh on the face. (Cerave is a good place to start, talk to someone at the pharmacy, perhaps) However I don’t think a few blocked pores is anything to worry about. I had//have your problem and worried about my children too, but thankfully products and treatments are a lot better than when I was young. Information is also much more available. Be prepared to take her to a derm if needed. Try not to worry and trust that you’ll be able to get her help if she needs it. Hopefully she won’t get problem skin at all🤞
