Has anyone ever ordered off meet.curve?

Hi, I ordered off this company back in July after reading positive comments on their Facebook.

When the items arrived I didn't like the fit of them so emailed them to return them.

I'd ordered over £50 worth of items and then add their handling fee and postage etc and I think it was £64 or something.

Anyway their initial response to me was "hey, it'll cost you too much to send them back, how about you keep them and we can work something out?"

I checked and it would only have cost me £6 to send back which I said I was happy to do.

They then started negotiating with me about how I could keep the 2 bikinis and they pay me £20 back etc etc

Finally they said they'd refund me the money minus handling fee and postage and I pass the bikinis to someone who'd like them 🙄

It's over 5 weeks now and I have been emailing every day trying to speed up my refund.

Has anyone ever dealt with this company before? If you haven't, then don't!

Yep, unfortunately notoriously known to be scam artists. Sorry OP. Hopefully you can get your money back through either PayPal or credit card, depending on how you paid

I paid via PayPal - I think.

I will check.

Do I just open a dispute?

Thank you, I didn't even think of that!

Yes just open a dispute. They will ask for all details etc. PayPal usually side with the buyer, so fingers crossed for you

So disappointing as I saw a swimsuit I really liked on there but didn't order after the reviews. I'm almost tempted to just order then sell on if it's no good.

I have just opened a dispute. I was able to attach a lot of email exchanges too so hopefully they can see how often I contacted them.

Thanks so much, I honestly wouldn't even have thought of that, I've never had to do it before!

The bikinis I ordered were nice, but honestly the quality wasn't great.

I am so disappointed.

This morning I have an email from meet.curve saying if I close the dispute they will refund me.

I don't believe them for a second.

No, please don't
That's how they will screw you over
Really hope the PayPal works out for you

scoopoftheday · 17/09/2023 17:53

Just a wee update - PayPal found in my favourite and I was refunded the whole amount.

Thanks for the advice 👍

❌❌DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!❌❌
I know the thread is old but wanted to get this out there to save someone else from falling for their scams!
I purchased 2 bathing suits for 80$, they ended up being partly too small, partly just lacking material to properly cover (at the time I figured it was just a size issue). I wanted to return them but they would only give back 20$ if I mailed the pieces back, or I could get store credit for the full amount. I took a chance and picked the latter. When they sent me the code for this credit, they called it a gift card but I thought nothing of it. I then proceeded to purchase a few other items with the code provided for 85$, going one size up because of my previous experience. When they arrived, I saw that not only they were much larger than the previous ones, but they somehow still did not provide enough coverage. I concluded that their designs are just weirdly shaped, so I reached out to exchange once more, this time, I was going to get accessories, beach bags, etc. items that I was sure not to have an issue with. However, they denied an exchange, saying I used a “gift card” and that those items are final sale. After asking for them to reconsider, all I got was an email saying that they assume everyone reads their fine print and that nothing could be done. All in all, I have plenty of completely unusable, bad quality and ill fitted pieces and they took all my money completely shamelessly. Don’t make the same mistake I did, go shop elsewhere!
