Spa day

I want to have a spa day (not overnight) on my own somewhere in Kent- Sussex - Surrey

Any recommendations please?

My mums treats us to one every year so have tried loads but always interested to hear from others.

Alexander House is a really nice place but always SO busy it's hard to feel relaxed & luxurious although only been on a Saturday.
Champneys been a few times, always consistently good but not amazing and bit of a conveyor belt.
Bailiffscourt is gorgeous one of my favourite hotels

SpreadEagle in Midhurst small but lovely
Ashdown Park - small and old fashioned wouldn't recommend
Pennyhill Park - amazing but v. pricey & I found the hotel quite corporate
South Lodge - amazing but v. pricey
Rowhill Grange - very nice but not amazing although this was quite a while ago.

Prices seem to have soared for spa days/breaks so be warned if you've not started looking yet you'll struggle to find much under £150!
