What do you wear if you have slopey shoulders?

I’m on a journey to dress better for my shape.

I’ve been losing weight (was obese), and I still have more to go, but want to think about my shape as well as my size. I want to enjoy clothes and find a style for me.

I’m a tall rectangle/column with a short waist and long legs. This bit I’m getting to grips with, and I’ve really got into skirts and tops (tucked in!), and I’ve realised things need to sit higher on me to sit on my natural waist.

But the bit I’m finding tricky is that I also have quite slopey shoulders. Lots of tops and dresses don’t seem to fit quite right on me because of this.

Does anyone else have slopey shoulders and have you found a way to dress for them?

Shoulder pads...you can get fab little ones from Amazon that velcro to your bra strap.

I hadn't thought of that at all!! Interesting. Shoulder pads would definitely help with two dresses I have which need more 'support' there to look right. Thank you!

Does anyone else have tips or tricks of what they wear?

I find strappy things don't work for me as they just fall down.
