Free shipping on Victoria Beckham Beauty- satin eyeliner

VB Beauty has free shipping on this weekend. I've seen rave reviews of the satin Kajal eyeliners, but are they worth it? £26 with free shipping.

If you use them, do you just buy a black as a usual eyeliner, or a colour as a kind of eyeshadow crayon?

I’m a huge fan, I use Cocoa as my everyday eyeliner and I also have olive which I use as both a liner and a shadow.

Nitgel · 03/09/2023 08:30

I use the bronze on upper and lower lashes. It's a gorgeous product

pharmachameleon · 03/09/2023 09:03

Ah! I've been trying these up for ages but the £5 delivery put me off. I have blue eyes so think I might get the bronze one. Thanks!

Empresstea · 03/09/2023 09:05

Can anyone please tell me how you sharpen the wretched thing? I bought her cosmetics sharpener to go with it but darn thing just whirls around in the hole grrrr....

HundredMilesAnHour · 03/09/2023 09:30

I love them, they're fabulous! Expensive but worth it. I tend to wear the Olive for work and for play I'm going through a phase of wearing the Gold Lame. I just use them as eyeliners though (top lid only) rather than eyeshadow.

Never had any issues sharpening them. Just turn them in the sharpener gently (as obviously the 'lead' is quite soft).

I used their sharpener and it worked fine- but I think you would be able to use any sharpener.

Nitgel · 03/09/2023 10:19

I use the Barry M pink doubke ended sharpener, it's good.

MoriaRoseForever · 03/09/2023 10:29

Snoopsnoggysnog · 03/09/2023 10:38

nzeire · 03/09/2023 10:46

HundredMilesAnHour · 03/09/2023 10:57

I just checked and realised I have SIX of them! Bronze, Sea Grey, Olive, Sequin Green, Gold Lame, Night Flash. Oops! 🙄They are fab though.

dontgobaconmyheart · 03/09/2023 11:02

I love an eye pencil/eyeshadow stick and honestly just think they're fine/nice. Some lovely colours but the formula and finish is pretty much the exact same or comparable to a lot of the other gel liners or eyeshadow sticks I own - and there are a lot pout there -whether that's high street/budget or high end. Obviously you find a few duds and longevity varies but most I find to he comparable and pretty good.

IMO whilst nice they aren't groundbreaking, and are very overpriced for what they are.

GreenishFinger · 03/09/2023 11:04

Any recommendations for pale brunette with green eyes?!

tiktokoclock · 03/09/2023 11:16

@GreenishFinger the bronze shimmer, hands down. It's quite subtle, but can be built up. It will be lovely on green eyes.

Nitgel · 03/09/2023 11:26

the webpage matches eye colour with the produyct but i would also recommend the bronze greenish. I love it and my eyes are vv dark brown.

What cheaper ones would you recommend ? Thanks.

redcess · 03/09/2023 11:45

I bought one and I really dislike it! It feels lovely when you apply it, very satin like. But it slides down my face within an hour or so of applying. I have tended to have this problem with other brands of eyeliner though, so I think I have sensitive eyes which is what causes it. I love the Bobbi brown gel eyeliner which is perfect, no smudging!

Ireolu · 03/09/2023 12:56

I just bought some after reading shipping is free. Have checked it out in the past but was not convinced enough to buy. Let's see.

GreenishFinger · 03/09/2023 13:18

Thanks both I’ll get that one!

I am actually quite tempted by the Vast mascara, any reviews?!

jallopeno · 03/09/2023 13:19

They are gorgeous. I have the brown, black and Ash ones

LivingDeadGirlUK · 03/09/2023 17:33

Do they stay put or do they smudge/transfer easily?

BangingOn · 03/09/2023 20:48

I have very watery eyes and oily lids so eyeliner is a nightmare for me. I use Urban Decay Potion followed by Huda baking powder and VB liner and it stays put all day.

anon2022anon · 04/09/2023 10:31

I was hoping you were all going to tell me they weren't worth the cash so I wasn't tempted any more.

jallopeno · 04/09/2023 10:36

If anything I find them hard to remove

anon2022anon · 04/09/2023 10:41

Just committed and bought the sequin green, probably not the best choice for grey/ blue eyes, but it looks so pretty on the picture!
