Lashes - is this normal?

I kniw someone who does lashes, brows, lips, chin injections etc

The people who have lashes always look like they've been crying red watery sore looking eyes. I've sent some in person but you can also see it on her social media.

Is this to be expected? Or avoided at all costs?

Possibly because they've had their eyes shut for a couple
Of hours and then opened them in a bright salon.

Do you mean in the salon's photos when they're freshly done?

Whenever I've had them, the adhesive makes my eyes water and then my eyes are very red for a while. I don't get them anymore as I find they are just a pain and uncomfortable.

I used to get LVL lashes done. The little pads they put over the other lash line to keep them out the way irritate my eyes and made them red.

I have my lashes done & I've never had red or watery eyes. I imagine some people are sensitive to the chemicals used.
