Hi everyone!

I’m not sure if this is the correct platform for asking about my DH’s clothing.

My DH is large built. With chest size 56. We are going for a wedding in end of September to southern France. Please may I know where can I buy a summer jacket or a linen suit.

PS - he sweats a lot so anything that is cool (no velvet/ wool).

  1. Boss doesn’t have his size.
  2. Moss - he doesn’t like the clothes of this brand.
  3. Jacamo- I don’t like any collection there.

Wife work?

Does your husband lack the capacity to buy his own clothes? Obviously he needs your help if he is not able to use the Internet.

(I just can’t imagine any husband going onto his guy forum and asking for advice on where to buy a wedding guest outfit for his wife …)

Don't be ridiculous

We had similar recently and my DH found an amazing independent men's shop in a nearby town with a huge choice of suitable things in large sizes. My DH looked great, he did the groundwork and I went along for final approval.

@YorkieTheRabbit thank you these are wonderful options. I’ll pass it on and check with him. X

My DH usually only wears round neck shirts and shorts or trousers. Depending on weather and hoodies if it’s cold.

he had a extremely stressful job abroad many years ago where he was required to wear a suit and a tie everyday. Since quitting that overly stressful and toxic job and coming to UK, he has changed completely in terms of his clothing.

so now finding a suit that makes him comfortable and he feels good about it is becoming difficult to find. I have come in this platform to ask about independent stores because chain stores are not helping with sizes.

since our Wedding 5 years ago he’s not worn a tux. And our wedding tuxedo won’t fit him anymore.

Is there a branch of Slaters near you?

My DH is a big, tall guy and always finds something there when he needs a suit/formal clothes

@FTMFeb21 😊
