Wearing Pink

Do you wear/like pink clothes?

I've seen comments on threads that people hate pink. I wear colourful clothes in Summer so wear pink, orange, yellow etc.

I don't think only women/girls wear pink. My DH & DS will wear a pink top or shorts.

I always wear pink me

I love pink and have lots of different items of clothing in all shades of pink. Wearing pink makes me feel happy.

I wear a lot of pink. It suits me and I like it.

Maddy70 · 01/09/2023 09:14

Pink suits me so I wear it a lot

CoteDOpale · 01/09/2023 09:15

Day to day I wear black, charcoal, beige, cream and white lol. Odd bit of burgundy occasionally.

BUT I do seem to lean towards pink gym stuff. I have a dusty pink Lulu set that’s my favourite. That’s when I enjoy colours.

Love pink clothes. And DH and adult DS wear pink as well.

It's from the movie Mean Girls

I never wear pink.

GLORIAGloriarse · 01/09/2023 09:24

Love it, use it in my home a lot but pinks don't massively suit me unfortunately other than fuchsia. DP on the other hand looks fab in a pink shirt.

fancyfrogs · 01/09/2023 09:26

I like wearing pink but don't own a lot as I'm pale so find it suits me more when I've got a bit of a tan, definitely more of a holiday colour for me. Or fake tan, when I can be bothered once or twice a year!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 01/09/2023 09:36

I don't really like pink so don't wear it. It is a colour in my palette though. The closest I wear is a salmon nude sort of shade.

NotMadeOfStone · 01/09/2023 09:38

I have one pink top (am more often seen channelling my inner goth in all black) and I get SO many compliments on it every time I wear it.

Must dig it out again!

PollyThePixie · 01/09/2023 09:41

I wear a lot of different dusky pinks. They’re lovely against my skin tone and natural grey hair.

I like wearing it. I think it suits me but I know some people hate it. I look nothing like Barbie, Margot Robbie (Oh, I wish). Short with dark hair.

I wear a lot of hot pink but don’t suit baby pink

Alarae · 01/09/2023 10:54

My favourite t shirt at the moment is an oversized pink t shirt with Grumpy Bear (Care Bears) on it.

Ironically I am also wearing a dusky pink cardigan this morning which I haven't worn for a long time.

I think you missed the film reference there

elQuintoConyo · 01/09/2023 11:01

It doesn't suit me, so no. Although I do have neon pink toenails at the moment.
DH and DS wear it, they have a couple of shirts/t-shirts. However, they're olive-skinned and it suits them. Plus we're in Europe and fewer people give a fig at men in pink.

I personally just see it as a colour, not weak, not girly, not negative, just another colour like red or turquoise or brown.

5128gap · 01/09/2023 11:14

I've got into over the last few years. I always wore red, but my hair has lightened and skin tone changed as I've got older and I find pink suits me more these days. Ive surprised myself by how much i like it, and am a bit sad that once the Barbie stuff is out of the way its going to look like wearing an old trend. DSs and DP all have a pink shirt or t shirt. Just another colour to them.

Pigeon31 · 01/09/2023 11:24

You need to get the right shade of pink - I look horrid in millenial pink but a really bright raspberry or shocking pink looks quite good (nice for a pop of colour too, less uniform-like than red).

I certainly did. They explained.

I wear a fair amount of pink - I’m wearing a raspberry top at the moment. I’m pale and cool toned so pink tends to be one of the better colours on me as it warms me up without making me look deathly. I can’t do coral/orange though.
