Size up or down for Long Tall Sally?

About to buy a navy parka by LTS. Am 5'9 and size between a 12 & 14. If LTS runs large I don't want to order a 14 and have it hanging off me, but similarly don't want to order a 12 and have it too tight over a jumper. Really don't want to order both and send one back and no real clues in the reviews for this. Any advice/experience pls?

Also do you think it's lovely or not? 😬 I really like it.

LTS sizes are vague, at best. Since they were taken over by Yours. Sometimes things are right, sometimes small. I’ve had one thing that was huge.

For coats, though, I’d size up as you’ll want to wear more than a thin t-shirt under it.

Returning is easy if you have a printer as the courier can collect from your door.

Yes I had some trousers in a 12 that were absolutely huge so that's what I'm worried about. I suppose with coats it doesn't really matter if they're on the large side. Thanks

Actually now you've mentioned Yours I've checked reviews for the same item on their website and the sizing looks spot on so I will go up to a 14 to leave a bit of room 👍

Excellent! I don’t know why they won’t share reviews on LTS these days. I posted a review on a dress I actually got trapped in as it was too small (that was a fun day!) - it’s never appeared on site.
