I've been scared to update my budget workbook. Have finally done it (after buying a too-good-to-miss coat I don't need) and I've overshot my annual clothing budget by 200% already.

I've loved all the chat, ideas and irrational FOMO feelings, but THIS MUST STOP NOW! No more clotheses until 2025. I'll miss you but you're dangerous!

Fabulous colour. It's been nice chatting with you.

WanderingWolf · 29/08/2023 21:56

It's only £50. Bargain!!! You've just saved yourself £250!!!

NeedTheSeaside · 29/08/2023 22:01

<looks around>

not my natural habitat....

£50 that's a bargain & a great colour. Sadly they don't cater to short fatties😫

javelinwatcher · 29/08/2023 22:25

That's lovely and a real bargain!! Any ideas from anyone about how you could wear it? I don't love it with black trousers like in the picture. What else could you combine it with?

Floisme · 29/08/2023 23:04

Lovely coat, I've noticed your posts and you have a great eye.

Sorry you're leaving. Do you know about the 'no spend / low spend' thread or does it need to be a clean break?

KirstenBlest · 29/08/2023 23:14

@GarlicGrace , don't go. Sell all your mistakes and you'll be back in budget. That's what I do.

ChipshopPickledEgg · 30/08/2023 14:16

Meh you've done 200% what's 300%?! Stop around.

NatashaDancing · 30/08/2023 14:19

You could just read stay and read threads where you won't be tempted.

I enjoy reading trainers, jeans, designer bags and Toast threads to see what other posters are up to safely knowing I won't be tempted.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 30/08/2023 14:23

Was your budget realistic for your income and your style? Some women would say that spending over £200 on clothes in a year is too much whereas others would struggle to stick to £2000 - how did you work it out?

BeverlyBrook · 30/08/2023 18:31

Well, did you get the coat?
Epic discounts, I guess they are clearing out the stock.
