Party this weekend, wedding next, same dress?

I went to a party on Saturday night and have a wedding this coming weekend.

I got lots of compliments on my dress at the party and bought it intending to wear it for the wedding too, but there was more cross over in the party guests and the wedding guests than I expected. Would you wear the same dress 2 weekends running?

No idea what I'm going to do if not

I would but then I’ve never understood the pressure to not wear the same thing twice. If something is flattering then why not wear it again?

Of course you should. Honestly it's only women who put this pressure on themselves most people won't even notice and all the men will be wearing the same suit they always wear and no one will bat an eyelid. Wear the dress and have a lovely day.

I wear things over and over. My best proper evening dress is one I've been bringing out for every event since 2005! I'm not sure about twice in one week.

Definitely wear it again! If anyone comments just say 'I had so many lovely comments last weekend I decided to wear it again!'
