Best loafers

Hello, I'm starting a new job next week and would like some decent loafers. Black rather than brown, no gold hardware and decent soles - Londoner so need to be able to commute in them. Anyone got any recommendations?

General style is a bit boho, dresses more than trousers.

For loafers I always go for Russell and Bromley; super comfy and last for years (expensive but worth it). Lots of styles and colours to choose from eg I have plain and with the snaffle or tassels.
but, if your style is more boho are you sure loafers will work? With dresses I wear ankle boots or little block heels

M&S have some good ones.

@geoger I do wear ankle boots but they're a bit too warm at the start of autumn so was looking for something more transitional. I've got some brogues too, but feel like loafers may tick a box.
