Please help me find black boots!

I have been searching and can't find a suitable pair. In Autumn / Winter I nearly always wear a dress, black tights and black boots to work however I cannot find a pair I would like.

The boots need to be

Black / smart - not chunky etc
Wide fit
Low heel (would love flat but I am 5ft 2 and really feel I need something)
Not real leather / ideally vegan
Ankle or slightly over angle boots

In the past I have always got suede / suedette boots and they do not wear well - I go through several pairs a between Sept - March as they just look scruffy very quickly.

I am in my 30s if that matters and the less I spend the better but I am willing to pay for boots that will last me at least this year into next and maybe more if possible!

Thank you for any suggestions - I have been scrolling and scrolling but the combo of not suede or leather and wide fit has left me struggling!

Next Chelsea boots are nice and they last ages. I have a burgundy pair that are around 4 years old and still look brand new.

Thanks I will check them out 😊

Don't believe La Redoute when they say a pair of boots is wide fit. I've just learned this lesson myself.

Try Hotter or M&S. Leather will last years if you look after it.

I've got those , they are lovely and comfy too .

I have my eye on these from Mint Velvet - to be worn with straight & wide legged trousers & dresses; MV footwear tends to be on the wide side, I have boots and (the most comfy) trainers from them

I also have these in brown and they are so comfy and I love them

M&S? Every time I look at some shoes or boots in there I like the look of they are always wide fit!

I agree about Ecco. Josef Seibel, Gabor, Alpe, Pied a Terre, Barbour etc might be worth a try too.

Thanks - I will look up these brands.

I really like the Ecco ones but I try to avoid leather when I can!

@Amaya2 , Vegan & Vegetarian Icon Collection - Ethical Shoes | Clarks
Womens VEGAN BOOTS by Vegetarian Shoes in the UK (vegetarian-shoes.co.uk)
Womens Shoes, Boots & Trainers - Boots | John Lewis & Partners
Vegan | Solovair | Handmade in England – NPS Solovair UK (nps-solovair.com)

I think the big brands are getting the message that more people want vegan footwear. They tend not to be cheap compared with non-leather shoes.

I buy leather because I'd rather buy one pair that lasts a long time than lots of cheap and cheerful that don't last.
