Just wondering if anyone else has gone red instead of grey, or if this is the product of my slightly unusual genetics?
I'm 38, my mum is mixed race with a black father and white, red haired mother. My hair is jet black and thick curls, as a child I would have reddish streaks in summer. I have 3 children and one of them is has beautiful copper-red hair.
I've started to get the odd grey hair but I'm also finding lots of bright red, very coarse hairs around my hairline, they're the same texture as the greys but completely red.
Am I going to go red all over? Has this happened to anyone else? I have no interest in dyeing it, whether it goes grey or red, or both, but I'm intrigued.
