Pixie cut inspo

Currently have a long/grown out bob. Years ago I used to have a really short pixie cut - think Audrey Hepburn short and really fancy going back to it. Feeling quite boring at the moment.

Anyone rocking a pixie cut currently? Tips? Product recommendations? Styles? Am thinking a little a-symmetric with having a longer side front to one side.

I have just gone from a long/grown out bob to this. The back is shaved but I like a bit of length at the front when I’ve got a short style.

I love it! I have been trying long for a few years but I feel a bit weighed down and this is much lighter and makes me look younger.

You should definitely go for a pixie cut!

Start asking people you meet out and about with good short cuts where they've had their hair cut.

Most stylists say they can do a pixie cut. Most actually can't. (You're only ever a tiny step away from a "Karen" cut with a pixie!)

I’ve always had short hair, just don’t feel like myself if it gets long. Currently it’s quite like this Maggie gyllenhaal pic. I like the fringe short and I wear it swept to one side, or sometimes more “up” in a quiff style.

This is what I ask for at the salon, style with mousse.

It’s very true that many hairdressers don’t understand short hair. You know when you have one who does as they’ll ask about the overall shape and effect you want, carefully check before cutting it way too short etc.
