Ankle boots

Im looking for a pair of good quality leather brogue ankle boots. Budget is £150/£200 absolute max. Grensons (sale) are very hard and would need too much ‘breaking in’, Cheanys are too £££. Does anyone know what the quality of Lanx boots are like? TIA.

Great thanks. I was looking at the chunkier Langho. Did you size up as suggested on the website sizing info?

I got a 37.5.

Depending on the style of anything I can be a 37, 37.5 or a 38, so it wasn't really sizing up but taking a chance. A 37.5 is a good fit and allows me to wear thick opaque tights (up to 100 denier) comfortably.

That's not a great help for your question as I've got for example LK Bennett and Pretty Ballerina shoes in 37 and 37.5. I think a 38 would be too big.

Thanks. I'll think about sending for my usual size plus next size up to be able to wear thicker socks.
