I need a bag for a party, I thought this might liven up a beautiful halterneck but plain navy dress? I keep getting notifications about the thread, came back expecting to see some more people in agreement with me that it's hideous (sorry OP) but genuinely can't understand the amount of love this bag is getting 😂

It's a small, pretty, fancy, evening bàg.

I don't understand the love or the hate. Some of the love is completely OTT (it'll be a great conversation starter") and some of the hate is completely OTT ("it's so dated and old fashioned")

There are 100s, probably, 1000s of small, fancy evening bàgs on sale from Matches/ Anya Hindmarch / Erdem at one end to well, whatever down-market China website floats your boat.

It's a pretty bag and fancy party dresses will generally look better with a small fancy bag.

It's lovely. This one has Gold instead of silver hardware. Bit more expensive though.

I don’t like it either, @Doublebubblegum I really wanted to when I clicked on the link and first saw it, but it’s a no from me.

But I am drawn to a more plain style. And plenty of people think it’s lovely, so what do I know?

That's lovely, I'd get it, enjoy using it and more than likely leave it out on display in my bedroom as it is so glittery and fun

Its arrived, the metalwork is more bronze than silver. The chain is a bit shoddy but the bag itself is better than I thought and if I take the case off my phone just fits
