E salon?

Has anyone ever used esalon? It came up on my facebook and I had a look at the website, they're running an introductory offer of £9 for all you need and a custom colour made for your hair (apparently). The posts have hardly any comments so not sure if it's too good
to be true lol

I used them in lockdown and they were excellent. Really helpful, too.

find the colour good quality and did it last quite well? I can't tell if it's a subscription service or just order when required

I’ve been using it for about 5 years and am very happy with it. I have fine shoulder length hair so only need to use half the product if only doing roots. I keep the other half for the next time. I usually use it once a month/every 6 weeks. It’s a semi-subscription service - you decide the frequency. You get an email before they despatch each one and you can choose to skip it if you wish or change the frequency of deliveries.

Really good colour, lasted as long as a salon colour, and you choose when to re-order.

I don’t use them now because I have a peroxide blond crop, but I would if I still had long hair.

Good colour and service. However I stoped using them because my hair was badly falling out. Partly my fault because I asked a couple of times for increased strength formulas to get better grey coverage. I lost an awful lot of hair before I twigged that it was the colour causing the problem and not the menopause.

I got the first free one and even though I thoroughly photoed and have a standard dark brown hair got such a cold shade of black I had to use colour remover to get it out and redye. very expensive and I would not purchase again.
