Is there any alternative to breast implants

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

I have small breasts and since having 3 children I'm even more conscious. I don't want implants as I don't want ro take the risk of any of the long term side effects. However, is their any alternative to breast implants? Obviously I know that in reality this is me and I am comfortable with me, but curious also is there any other way to have bigger breasts? Any chest exercises or bra's I don't know of, massage techniques etc or other known procedures that work?

You could try to put on a load of weight and hope some of it goes to your boobs?!

Honestly I've not heard of anything that can actually give you bigger breasts other than implants, a good push up bra (classic bombshell bra might be worth a try?) might make it look like you've got some more going on but that's dependent on wearing the bra.

Chest exercises won't increase fatty tissue around the breast area, if you look at super strong or well muscled women in the gym, they often have leaner looking chests. You can probably try to train your pec muscles but that won't give you bigger breasts imo.

You could perhaps consider fat grafting? That's not implants but is still surgery.

You can have a fat transfer - they suck out fat from your tummy/hips and inject it into your breasts. Less downtime and less risk as it’s your own body creating the ‘implant’ so very little chance of rejection.

I had a fat transfer and I wouldn't recommend. Some of the fat dies afterwards....the outcome is unpredictable. It was 8k so a rather expensive mistake lol

I had heard of the fat grafting but never new anyone that had it done so it's good to get a review on that. Does it leave them going back to their original size and how long ago did you have it done?

I have Calvin Klein bras - this might be the latest version: https://www.johnlewis.com/calvin-klein-perfectly-fit-flex-plunge-push-up-bra-black/p109750569

The extra padding means that clothes hang better.

Settodonotdisturb · 22/08/2023 15:12

I’m also a big fan of Calvin Klein bras like @Dimpsey For days I want boobs
But going back a step, why do you what to have bigger boobs? Is it about how clothes hang or is it about feeling sexy? Or something else?

For clothes definitely

There's something called a vampire breast lift. I don't think it dramatically increases size or anything but it's meant to make everything a little more perky/full. I'd seen it was an option when I was researching for the same thing

There are products for after a mastectomy but you need a post surgery bra and prothesis from somewhere like ameona. Not sure it would work just adding to normal breasts. I use the swim ones all the time and you just put them in the bra pockets.

To begin with you could just try changing the style of clothes you wear to create the illusion - sweetheart necklines, blouson blouses, bandeau tops etc. Rather than tweak your healthy body!

@abracadabra02

I had it done in the beginning of October 2022. At my 8 week review it looked like it had worked, but I think that was still post surgical swelling. Basically back to the same now, maybe tiniest difference. I had it done by a good breast surgeon in London, so I think it can be very unreliable no matter who the surgeon.

I am considering implants but that same surgeon has warned me that he takes more implants out of people now than puts them in. To hear a breast surgeon say that is a little concerning. 😟

Yes this is the exact reason I wouldn't like breast implants. They are just a no for me to be honest, it seems like it's just not worth the hassle. Plus, anything that is more natural, all the better 🤗

I do dress well, and I don't let it stop me wear what I like to wear. I agree with you, sweetheart necklines definately compliment a smaller cup size better. I just often think..could I be wearing a better bra or is their something out their I am not aware of that could enhance my cup size naturally.. hence why I would not like impants. I buy my bra's in good lingerie shops, and measure each time getting a new one.. but I think the styles you have mentioned are spot on for women with smaller bust 🤗

Oh, I will research this. Thank you.

Have you looked at the BOB (boob or bust) method of measuring for a correctly fitting bra? If not definitely have a look for the group on Facebook and give it a go. Makes a big difference in my experience

I'll do this now.. thank you 😊 I always get measured when buying a new bra, but they are never comfortable.
